NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF BLOOMING GROVE, TEXAS
PROPOSED BLOOMING GROVE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: 2027–2037
Notice is hereby given that the City of Blooming Grove is considering the adoption of the Blooming Grove Comprehensive Plan: 2027–2037 ("Plan"), prepared in association with the Texas General Land Office Resilient Communities Program (RCP) Contract No. 23-160-021E472. The Blooming Grove City Council, also serving as the Planning and Zoning Commission, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Blooming Grove City Hall, 200 S. Fordyce St., Blooming Grove, Texas, to review the proposed Plan and hold a public hearing as required by Chapter 213 of the Texas Local Government Code. All interested persons may appear, provide oral testimony, and submit written comments . Following the public hearing, the City Council may consider Plan adoption. Written comments regarding the proposed Plan may be submitted to the City Secretary, at City Hall or by email to citysecretary@ci.blooming-grove.tx.us, and must be received before the public hearing is closed. The proposed Plan is available for review at City Hall during normal business hours, and through the City’s website. Persons requiring special accommodation to participate, are asked to contact the City at (903) 695-2711 at least two (2) days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
